Tenants Guide
Rental property in Dubai? Let Baytify lead you.
We have helped hundreds of families discover their dream houses since 2022. We'll walk you through renting an apartment or villa in Dubai for the first time.
Step 1 - SET YOUR BUDGET:
Budgeting is essential. Include 5% agency fees and a 5% deposit (minimum AED 5,000). Your quest begins here.
Step 2 - DEFINE YOUR REQUIREMENTS:
Select important rental characteristics. Villa or apartment? Area preference? How many bedrooms? School or workplace proximity? Prioritisation needs to restrict search.
Step 3 - FIND A RELIABLE BROKER:
Choose a real estate broker you can trust and bond with. Our brokers prioritise your requirements, making relocating easy at Baytify.
Step 4 - PROPERTY VIEWINGS:
Write out questions for your broker during viewings. Don't discard a property; discuss issues to find solutions.
Step 5 - OFFER:
Make an offer after finding a good property. You'll be updated when your Baytify broker negotiates with the landlord.
Step 6 - ADMINISTRATIVE:
Discuss the paperwork with your agent. You need an Emirates ID, passport, and visa. Your Baytify broker can answer questions.
Step 7 - REGISTER EJARI:
EJARI—'your rent' in Arabic—registers your renting agreement. Baytify will help with documentation and the procedure.
Step 8 - SET UP UTILITIES:
Register with DEWA and create an internet connection. Baytify's home moving team charges a nominal fee.
Step 9 - MOVE-IN DAY:
Your rental was successful! Learn about community or building move-in policies.
Baytify lets you relax in your new house!
