Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has greenlit a AED 431 million project to enhance access to Dubai Harbour, in line with directives from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The project includes building a 1,500-metre, two-lane bridge connecting Sheikh Zayed Road to Dubai Harbour, designed to cut travel time from 12 minutes to just 3 minutes and handle 6,000 vehicles per hour. Surface improvements at four key intersections are also part of the plan to ease traffic flow and support the area's rapid growth.

Shamal Holding’s CEO, Abdulla Binhabtoor, highlighted that this project will transform Dubai Harbour into a premier seafront destination. The development includes Dubai Harbour Residences, featuring high-end apartments and penthouses with panoramic views, alongside a diverse range of retail and hospitality options. The new infrastructure will significantly enhance accessibility and the quality of life for residents and visitors.
