New telemarketing rules in the UAE now limit call times, enhance privacy protection, and block unsolicited calls. The Ministry of Economy, alongside the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA), the Central Bank of the UAE, and other key entities, oversees the implementation of these regulations.

These changes, first announced in June, aim to create a more respectful telemarketing environment by prioritizing consumer privacy and reducing the disruptions caused by unwanted calls.

Starting today, stricter regulations are in place to protect you from unwanted calls and give you more control over your communication, reflecting the UAE’s commitment to safeguarding personal privacy.
